Core Beliefs
Our prime belief is that our God is a God of infinite and unconditional love.

John 3:16 - 17
“For God so loved the world, that God gave His only Son, so that everyone who believes in the Son will not perish, but have eternal life. For God did not send the Son into the world to judge the world, but so that the world might be saved through Him."

Spirituality and Religion
As each person is created by God as a unique individual, we all have a unique relationship with our God. That relationship is our individual spirituality. Religion is a vehicle that allows us to come together in support and understanding as we travel a common path. Spirituality is the journey, religion is the path.
The Church
We are an independent Catholic Church, the mother church of the National Catholic Church of North America. We are one of many churches that share the charism of the catholic church, of which the Roman Catholic is the best known. The variety of catholic churches shows the diversity of God's creation, but all sharing the catholic spirituality shows the unity of God's Spirit.
The Sacraments
We believe that the sacraments are gifts from God to assist us through special graces on our spiritual journey. We celebrate the traditional seven sacraments of the church; Baptism, Confirmation, the Eucharist, Reconciliation, Anointing of the Sick, Marriage, and Holy Orders.
The Eucharist - Mass
The Mass is the primary liturgical celebration in which we hear and respond to the Word of God, and celebrate the ultimate gift of Jesus in the Eucharist. In this sacrament we are fed and nourished by Jesus so that we might continue to grow in our relationship to our God. We believe that this is the Lord's table, and all who join with us are invited and encouraged to receive this Sacrament. "This is not something we earn by being good, it is something we need to be better."
Reconciliation
Life and spirituality are growing processes. Sometimes during that process we may take a misstep, or be in error for choosing a lesser good over a greater good. God understands that. That is the reason Jesus came among us, to reconcile us to God and to ourselves. Giving and receiving forgiveness are important tools for spiritual growth. We believe that the act of forgiveness is the truest act of love. What "I forgive you" truly means is "who you are is more important than anything you have said or done".
The Bible
The Bible is both the history of God's interactions with all of humanity and all of creation, and the promise of God's continuing presence. While not a history or science book, it is divinely inspired accounts of the writer's understanding of how God is present in our world.
Prayer
We believe that all of our prayers have already been answered, even those that lie in our hearts and not our consciousness. It is a matter of us accepting the manifestations of those answers. We do not pray as much in petition, but rather in thanksgiving.
